Publisher's description
From Nicolas Pabion :This small freeware app allows you to select a MP3 file and add it to your ringtone list in Sounds. It also features a file splitter so you can use a section of a song instead of the whole song. A drawback to this is that it copies the file to main memory and can be a memory hog. Usage of the files does not require the app to be installed.

"A real good/easy software to make ringtones....."
Pros: It's user friendly and it's stable. The other free-ware ringtone software I tried out crashes a lot and it didn't convert most of the songs I had.
Cons: It's a little laggy when your editing a track.

"Quick, easy and free for your Palm Treo!"
Pros: This software, yes indeedy, is free...what could be better than that when you have so many other software vendors that want to sell you software (nothing wrong with them making a profit, of course). I might add that I was reluctant to try this software, since it is version 0.1B (as in Beta), but I have had nothing but fun, and more ringtones added to my Treo 680 (also works on the Treo 650) than I ever would use. The software can be installed on, and work off of, the memory card, although the software is such a small size, there is really no problem with putting it on the phone. It is able to add an MP3 as a ringtone, whether in the original size or trimmed down by the software. All in all, an A+ to the software and its creator Nicolas Pabion.
Cons: A little bit of a learning curve when you want to "trim" the software...but once you do it, you realize it was a "duh" moment or you would have breezed through it. (Let me help you here: Check which music found on your Treo that you want to add as a ring tone, click add, and then a popup screen will have the "trim" option, where you can start and end the ringtone where you want, either by time, music or bytes size.) You can listen to the MP3 as you trim it, to get an idea of which portion that you want to make your ringtone. All in all, not much negative at all to say about this software, which I have had for about six months or so on my Treo 680 and my Treo 650.
