From Nicolas Pabion:
This small freeware app allows you to select a MP3 file and add it to your ringtone list in Sounds. It also features a file splitter so you can use a section of a song instead of the whole song. A drawback to this is that it copies the file to main memory and can be a memory hog. Usage of the files does not require the app to be installed.
i been searching hrs to find a way to put mp3's as ringtones without having connection to the internet through my palm centro and finally i found one that works!
i would recomend downloading clips from songs you want to be your ringer that are about 30 seconds long because if you use the songs from your mp3 player it takes up more K that come from your internal memory. its about 5000K compared to about 150K
how do you actually put the ringtones into sounds using this software. i have ringtones uploaded on my palm centro bt i cant figure out hoe to utilize this program. if any body can help please reply i m tired of the crappy default ringtones!!!
This was so easy and such a great find. I highly recommend it. I have a treo palm and I thought I was stuck with the crappy ringtones it came with . Now I can make my own and did. Have fun playing with this. Give yourself at least 2 hours because you'll want to give everyone in your contact list a personal ringtone
I did not like that there wasn't a how to. Thankfully some nice guy did a quick explanation in his review that helped greatly. No complaints from me, awesome little program and free. Thanks Mister.
This takes my mp3's out of pTunes and adds them to my ring collection! There's also an option to rename and trim a song file so you can get the clip you want as a ring tone. It's very easy to use and it didn't crash my Palm like Ringo and mRing. I'd recommend trying this first before buying the others.
