MidiBridge9X is an emulator for OMS that allows applications running under Classic in MacOS X to communicate with CoreMidi devices. Because there are numerous MIDI applications that will never be ported to MacOS X, MidiBridge9X revitalizes an entire world of MacOS 9/OMS legacy applications.
MidiBridge has been tested with several Classic OMS Applications, including Band in a Box, Finale 2003, SoundDiver, and Nightingale. It does not currently work with Opcode's Vision.
The download includes the MidiBridge9X Application for OS X, the MidiBridge9X driver for OMS, and a manual in PDF format.

What's new in this version:

  • Bug fixes to the "data window", allowing various monitor depth settings.
  • Now dynamically updates the ports when CoreMidi changes its setup.
  • Remembers the input and output port setup for the next time the program is run.
