"Works, but frequently disconnects"
Version: Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection 2.1.1
Pros
Works very well
Keyboard Mapping
Allows full-screen without dock
Flexible Sound optionsCons
DIsconnects frequently
Summary
I like if very much, except for the frequent disconnects. I also use an XP laptop using the windows version of the remote desktop software to the same remote computer, and never get these disconnects. No indication from the remote computer that it's doing the disconnect either. I'm currently using version 2.0.1.

Cons

Summary

-
"Very valuable!"
Version: Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection 2.1
Pros
Allows me to connect to multiple Windows PCs at my remote office without having to consume the limited resources of my Windows virtual machine to connect.
Cons
Not as reliable as the Remote Desktop Connection in Windows. There are several PCs to which I can only connect from a Windows PC.
Summary
The new version appears to offer no improvement compared to the previous version.

"Doesn't work with Windows 2000 server"
Version: Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection 2.1
Pros
Previous versions have been good.
Cons
This version immediately crashes when I connect to a Windows 2000 server.
Summary
I can't use this version at all. The 2.01 version works fine for everything I do, I restored it from Time Machine a few minutes after trying to get 2.1 to work. It consistently crashes immediately up on attempting to connect. I'll stick to what works.

"Does what it does well."
Version: Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection 2.1
Pros
Quick connection and interaction.
Cons
Tends to quit, inexplicably.
Summary
The best way I've found to connect to a PC.
-
"Intel-only"
Version: Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection 2.1
Pros
Can't use it, Intel-only.
Cons
The description is wrong. This application is Intel-only.
Summary
In the jump from 2.0.1 to 2.1 MS has dropped PPC support. The description here at C|NET is wrong.

Takes only a few minutes.

Very convenient!Cons
When accessing a computer with multiple monitors, it only shows the main display on the remote computer.
Summary
This program is awesome! I can access my Desktop Windows computer from my Dell Mini 10v Mac install. This makes my life 100% easier!

"Does what it says on the can"
Version: Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection 2.0b3
Summary

Works very well, it's pretty fast, printer support is good. It does what it's supposed to do and does it well. I used to use CoRD but this one now has the edge. -
"Vastly improved"
Version: Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection 2.0b3
Summary

This version of the beta is much, much better than the previous one. As well as offering more useful preferences, it runs significantly faster on my G4 Powerbook Leopard connecting via 100baseT to a Dell Pentium something or other running XP. Outlook particularly was ridiculously sluggish under the previous beta, and now responds like it does directly on the PC. -
