"WILL NOT INSTALL ON 64bit WINDOWS PC"
Version: Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer 2.2
Pros
I remember it working fine back when I was using 32bit Windows XP.
Cons
I can't install it on my 64bit Windows 7 (Home Premium) PC!
Summary
It's a little over 2 years old, so it SHOULD install and run fine on anything except Windows 8! C'mon MicroSloth, get with it and put out a new version, already!!!

Pros

Cons

Summary
As I'm digitally challenged I rely on strongly recommended downloads from sites I believe I can trust. I don't always see the effect of the download. However, some time after the download of MSFT BSA 2.1.1 I experienced several "Blue Screen" crashes. Using Cnet to review virus/firewall products I decided and bought both and the sftwr service to the tune of $90+. After install and run, it found a trojan, 5 critical somethings, and 3 registry alerts. Also it finds 5-10 tracking cookies every few days.
Therefore, I don't see the value of willy nilly downloads no matter how important they sound or trusted the site -
"Like the setup"

"It acually work fine, without hogging your dektop."
Version: Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer 2.1.1
Pros
Works well, without slowing down your desktop. I feel that it's better than most that you pay a lot of money for.
Cons
It's not perfect, but I feel it's far better than those you pay $50 or more for, which slow down your system (to make you feel better).
Summary
It's fine to use. All of us need to learn proper safety use of our laptops, desktops, or anything else with access to the internet.
