From MedianSoft :

MedianSoft Joiner-Converter is not a mere video joiner, converter or DV-capturing software. With this program you can merge and/or split all AVI (including DivX), WMV, ASF, VOB, DAT, and MPEG files, and even add digital photos to AVI, MPEG, DVD, or VCD files. Both entire files and selected parts can be joined, even if the files are in different formats. You can insert transitions (several types) between clips or segments. The DV capturing module was added to the program to make it even more convenient. Joiner-Converter can just as well be used as a regular video converter that converts files from one format to another. With this software, you can easily convert AVI to MPEG, WMV to MPEG, MPEG to AVI or WMV to AVI.

Version 2.8 adds DV-capturing from miniDV camera and fixes minor bugs.
