Version: MediaMan 2.66.3
"Very good catalog software, just still a bit too costly for me."
Pros: This is very good software. It is very useful with a wide variety of indexing and searching abilities. It is very easy to backup the database so you don?t have to worry about losing it. The interface and automatic data retrieval from Amazon.com is so easy to use; it really does outclass the others that are out there. I found the ability to export the database to my palm very useful. It is capable of maintaining multiple databases, and has multiple fields for your own use. The barcode scanning ability is very impressive, and makes adding to your collection very easy.
Cons: The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the cost. For a $50.00 piece of software, I would like to see a larger improvement over the free software version. I would like to see 2 major improvements before I purchase this software. First, I would like to see an option to import data from IMDb. Second, I would like to see the addition of computer and or gaming hardware catalog templates and database. Until then, I will continue to use the last free version v2.2..
