Version: MediaMan 2.1
Pros: This is the best catalogue program I have found for my DVD collection....easy to use, FREE, and I love the bookshelf view. You add an item and it brings up a list of appropriate titles; pick one and you get ratings, reviews, and a graphic of the cover.....so simple to use! If your search doesn't bring anything up, you have the option of adding your own details.
All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you for creating this piece of software - it's a gem!
Cons: Wish it would give more search sites. If it's not listed on one of the Amazon sites (U.S., Britain, Canada, or France), you have to add your own, which isn't really that hard, but you don't get the reviews and ratings. Would be nice to be able to go to another site. But hey, it's free, and much better than some of the commercial or shareware catalogue software...

Version: MediaMan 2.1
"Absolutely the coolest database that I've ever used."
Pros: Great for creating your own library for any number of books, movies, music. The access to Amazon is probably the best part as well as the virtual shelf. You get a full description without having to type pages and pages of information. Extremely user friendly.
Cons: Probably the only con I can think of is no print option to print out a list of movies, etc.

Version: MediaMan 2.1
"The best catalogue for all media"
Pros: Simple to use, great looking (especially the "virtual shelf" view), keeps all the media info - books, music, dvds, etc in one place, and its FREE!!
Cons: they say you can use the Cue Cat scanner, but I haven't figured out how yet. Doesn't matter - the keyword search is so easy I don't need it.

Version: MediaMan 2.1
Pros: This product made it very easy to add my collection of mainly books and videos. It was so cool to add the isbn number and have the book/video pop up on the screen. Even older books were there. Never tried anything like this before. I like it very much.
Cons: Hmmm. Probably just that it took a few hours to add all of my collection but that wasn't the product. lol. None that I can think of.

Version: MediaMan 2.1
Pros: a great tool for collectors and being one myself,my book and cd collection can be catalogued with ease with this software.
Cons: the tool does not have enough options when it comes to status of item and most options are vague,it also does not allow you r\to rate an item suitably.
