"McAfee is one of the best firewalls out there!"
Pros: The firewall is easy to configue and virus scan has a great support system. Anytime a virus is flagged you can search details about the virus on the McAfee online database before commiting to an action. This is a lifesaver during false positives!
Cons: It is a little heavy on system resources so if you have an out of date computer with a slow processor and not much RAM you may notice a slightly longer boot time but that is about the worst you can expect.
Summary: I can not say enough about the firewall. You can trace incoming events easily. The firewall pings the computer that attempted to access your computer and tells you where the attempt originated. It stealths all of your system ports. I have run al... read more >>
