In theory, this program provides most standard tools for tidying your PC's Registry, but the unreasonable trial restriction makes it impossible for us to evaluate how well it really works. Max Secure Registry Cleaner's interface is simple, clean, and relatively easy to understand. Like many utilities in this class, the program lets users determine what kind of errors to scan for, including bad DLLs, unused programs, and faulty ActiveX controls. Scan results include information such as error type and severity, though the program fails to tell you if a key is 100 percent safe to delete. To compensate for this, the utility includes a backup tool, as well as a defragmenter. This program can scan either in full speed or run in the background more slowly, a perk that multitaskers will appreciate. That all might sound like an attractive package, but since this demo won't actually remove any problem keys, we can't vouch for its real-world performance. As such, we'd suggest users in search of a Registry optimization tool put this one further down on their list.Publisher's description

Version: Max Registry Cleaner 3.7
Pros: I am very impressed with this registry cleaner. I particulary like the registry defragmenter. After running a scan the difference in speed was noticable. I would recommend this product.

Version: Max Registry Cleaner 3.7
Cons: Purchased MaxReg. The serial sent to me worked once only. Contact support and new serial sent - worked once only. I now have six serials none of which works-I think MaxRegistry scan is deleting serial, maybe wrong. Don't buy this if you don't want your hair turning grey! Also, forget 30 day's refund!

"Did NOT like this one at all!"
Pros: Nothing
Cons: This program tells you what's wrong but if you let it fix it your PC won't work afterwards. It will delete vital programs. You really NEED to know whick programs NEED to be on your PC. If you email the company for help...you won't get any. I'm still waiting for a reply

"30-day no questions asked guarantee is bogus"
Pros: Interface easy to use
Cons: The program does not really work until you purchase it. You must let its update service automatically hook into your system os or it will not work. The program did not satisfy my specific needs. The site advertises a "30 days, money back, no questions asked, satisfaction guarantee" but I have contacted the company three times asking for a refund and each time I get a response for more information so their technical department can solve any problems I may be having. I have been forced to contact my credit card company to obtain a refund. Totally miffed!
