It also provides file encryption, system-spyware prevention, file shredding, Internet-history and IM shredding, and a home-page lock. The stealth feature hides the program's operation. Max Net Shield erases the site address bar, the recent files list, your cache, cookies, Favorites, history logs, and autocomplete Web addresses. You have the ability to save selected cookies from elimination. The spy-software/adware scan detects and eliminates more than 1000 hidden programs, worms, malware, and spyware. The shield feature prevents certain types of malicious adware from entering your system. The newest version includes improvements to file shredder.
