From Versophos :Mat-A-Pic helps artists see how their prints will look when they're matted and framed, and it provides measurements for cutting mats to produce the mat options chosen in the program. The user no longer has to calculate dimensions for cutting his or her mats because the program produces the necessary measurements based on the user's input. The input options include mat colors, frame size, floating mat width, double mat width and weighted mat offset.
As the user selects and modifies these options, the measurements change accordingly and the program displays what these options will look like in the final matted print. The user can open digital image files to see how they will look when printed and matted at different sizes, or he or she can enter dimensions for traditional prints and generate measurements for matting them with the desired options.
What's new in this version:
Removed Protexis trial and registration function as it was unreliable and users were unable to use the registered program. Now the trial functionality is internal to the program, and users will pay at the Mat-A-Pic web page through PayPal.
