"I can't recommend this product highly enough."
Pros: What did I like about this version of Master Series? The user interface just totally rocks! I've tried some other software from WaveGenix and I found this one a little more professional, in the sense that it requires some prior knowledge of decibels and root mean squares. That's a good thing because it also gave me the chance to learn something new about audio. Another cool aspect to this download was the extensive online help. Wow, talk about detailed! Onto the software itself: Perfect clean results in all my test runs using both long and short wave files. When I say long, I mean LONGER than the average wave. I forced a 192 minutes stereo PCM at the MovieMaster module and it worked like a dream. Is there anyone else who needs this? Then download Master Series! I think the quickest module was SquashMaster but it treated my test peaks a little differently. This is great for peak distortion. Here's something I really loved about this product: LoopMaster took a folder containing well over 6500 stereo wav samples and made them ALL the same loudness. I don't mean simple normalization, I mean what you hear is something quite unique to WaveGenix products. This is something I've noticed in their other programs too. The loudness (RMS???) is adjusted so my ears think everything is the same volume level. It's a true gem for preparing my mixers and tracking software files. You'll probably be reading my other reviews for WaveGenix because I'm mental about this gear. Love it!
