Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is a surprisingly effective freeware antimalware tool. It's a relatively speedy malware remover, with the quick scan taking about 8 minutes even with other high-resource programs running. The heuristics engine proved on multiple computers during empirical testing that it was capable of determining the difference between false positives and dangerous apps.
The app has some nice features rolled in, too. It supports multiple drive scanning including networked drives, context menu options including a scan-on-demand for individual files, and the FileAssassin option under the More Tools section for removing locked files. The interface is simple, but pleasant-looking and well-organized. Tabs live just below the oversized logo, with few options per tab to keep down the clutter. The installation process was fast enough, but interestingly offered up the well-kept changelog and an instant definition file update.
Do note that the real-time protection is restricted to the paid version, as is the scheduler for updates and scans. Overall, though, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is a responsive malware remover that does what it should with a minimum of fuss.

"Best product for viruses out there"

Pros
I got rid of the constant probem riddled Norton and MacAfee and now just have Malwarebytes and Spybot. The best protection team bar none. And the hackers know it. I had a virus so bad it wouldn't allow me to run Malwarebytes or Spybot & I know why

Every time I tried to start Malwarebytes, I got a message that it wasn't compatible with OS and then I got flooded with new screen tabs in the hundreds. I finally figured out in task manager that the virus was looking for the execution files of the good malware detectors. I renamed those execution files and changed the registry names and MalWarebytes found the virus and eliminated it. Awesome program . My Norton was a pain in the rear, and ineffective to real threats to the system. I removed the Norton and installed Malwarebytes and Spybot, and they are a great team

Deep scan, nothing quick about this. Cleans up some hard to kill junk. I'm impressed and I recommend it to all of my friends.

Summary
I used Anti Malware to take care of a particularly nasty Trojan that had infiltrated my laptop. The laptop had Norton Anti-Virus on it, yet even though it assured me my system was clean, it wasn't. The pop ups only disappeared after running Aniti Malware. I am considering buying the full version.

After running full scans with two other programs, Malwarebytes was still able to find 59 items of risk and eliminate them.
Cons
Took 12 hours to scan whole computer.

Easy to: download, install, and use! Got rid of virus/malware that Super Anti-Spyware (another good program) and McAfee couldn't find.

It is intuitive and thorough in it's search. It found malware that other programs and antiviruses did not. Somehow my internet connection sped up also. I would recommend this program in a minute

None that I can think of other than the time it takes to scan the hard drive.
Summary
it saved my neighbors computer from doom......it crawled until he tried this and now he feels as if he has a new computer after the program found and dealt with 44 items of malware.
