Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is a surprisingly effective freeware antimalware tool. It's a relatively speedy malware remover, with the quick scan taking about 8 minutes even with other high-resource programs running. The heuristics engine proved on multiple computers during empirical testing that it was capable of determining the difference between false positives and dangerous apps.
The app has some nice features rolled in, too. It supports multiple drive scanning including networked drives, context menu options including a scan-on-demand for individual files, and the FileAssassin option under the More Tools section for removing locked files. The interface is simple, but pleasant-looking and well-organized. Tabs live just below the oversized logo, with few options per tab to keep down the clutter. The installation process was fast enough, but interestingly offered up the well-kept changelog and an instant definition file update.
Do note that the real-time protection is restricted to the paid version, as is the scheduler for updates and scans. Overall, though, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is a responsive malware remover that does what it should with a minimum of fuss.

"Malwarebytes helped me get rid of malicious programs"
Pros: It had consistantly kept my computer virus free
Cons: It is blocking a website by saying it has malicious address. I know the website is OK. I cannot find a phone number for support from Malwarebytes. I need to override this and I am unable to

"Paid version appears to be keeping my pc clean."
Pros: the cost of the paid version is neglible. i feel secure with it because it (paid version) has caught malware from sites that i would not have suspected of being malicious.
Cons: at the moment, i can think of no cons.
Summary: but i am not a power user, i am careful what sites i visit, and i have not compared MBAM to other products.

"malwarebytes protect our bites and bytes"
Pros: I have to manage 7 pc's all of them a regulary scan keep's the malware away, this is a must on all my pc's. Fantastic malwarehunter.
Cons: After years of use i can not find cons, on the contrarary without malwarebytes i can not surf freely on the net.
Summary: When sometimes malware get inside by fail from other protection, i send malwarebytes after them, when others talk about strange behaviour i order them to do a quick scan it takes 20 minutes and they have a free version, it keeps my pc's clean for ye... read more >>

Pros: This program restored my computer to full health in just one use after 2 days of trying every other program I could find to clear a really nasty infection. I wouldn't be without it and I recommend it to everyone.
Cons: Haven't discovered any downside so far.
Summary: This program works where others fail. An absolute must-have.
