Pros: Lots of effects, tons of customization, full control, fairly intuitive
Cons: A few quirks with image positioning, panning is possible but challenging sometimes, and audio fade out at end of DVD is too abrubt
Summary: The price is great for what you get. I also tried Memories on TV but went with this one b/c it had far more customization possibilities (and it was much less $) plus I thought the software interface was more professional looking. The panning funct... read more >>

Summary: I really love this program. After my holidays I had tons of photos. With MAGIX Xtreme PhotoStory it was so easy to put together a brilliant photoshow which I showed all my friends.

Pros: own creation of slideshows with effects, musik and menue
burn everything on dvd
put into dvd-player and watch it on tv
videos playable in between photos
3D-Text-Animations for professional lookCons: burning Dvds always takes a bit time
Summary: I like it because its so very useful.
At times you need a good presentation this can help you out.

"Great for travellers - I use this all the time"
Pros: I travel to Africa often for medical relief missions, I am able to take all of my pictures and show it to my colleagues and friends. They feel like they are there
Cons: None - works well on my laptop when I am in the field and when I am at home
Summary: If you want you friends and family to feel like they were there with you, showing your pictures this way is the only way to go.
