Trial version works for passwords up to three characters.
Summary
The trial version [claims it] will solve for passwords up to three letters long. If you're looking for a free trial that will actually allow you to view a password you've forgotten, this will not do it (unless, perhaps, your password is three letters long or shorter - mine was not, so I cannot open my file). The program downloaded successfully, did nothing, was uninstalled. Totally useless.
