Publisher's description
From TranCreative Software :Magic Button is a Pocket PC task manager. Located on title bar, it does not cover any standard info, i.e. Sound icon, notification icon... It matches perfectly with the current theme. The program makes close button really close applications. Magic Button provides Task bar with running task icons, activated by tap and hold on the Close/OK button. It hides automatically when you don't need it. Map a hardware button to MB then show or hide task bar with a touch.
Version 2.0 blends nicely with the Windows Mobile 5.0 gradient color.

Version: Magic Button 2.0 build 51023
"Very Useful. Should be a part of the OS functionality."
Pros: Easy to use. Takes care of my greatest frustraction with the Pocket PC where it does not naturally close each program when you tell each to close. This program solves that issue.

"Pocket PC Operation Swiss Army Knife"
Pros: I use an Acer n30. This little app tells me what is running, allows me to shut down selectively, tells me how much battery power is left, arranges control icons, and auto-starts after re-set.
The app is essential, and at these prices I fail to understand why PDA manufacturers don't put it on their welcome CDs.
QF
Cons: I'd like them to put the SHUT DOWN function on the main toolbar instead of burying it in a menu.

Version: Magic Button 2.0 build 51023
Pros: New to pocket pc I didn't understand why there wasn't an easier way to actually exit a program. This makes it easy to see what programs are running and allows you to easily close them, preventing and overload on your memory.
Cons: I haven't used it long enough to discover any cons.

Version: Magic Button 2.0 build 51023
Pros: Wonderful program. Works great.
Cons: There is only one problem i have found and thats with activesync. If it opens automatically and you see it on the "magic button bar" you can click on the icon but nothing will happen. The way I found to get around this is to press the "open programs" or "itask" or whatever button you have on your pocket pc that tells you what programs are open, then when the list comes up, choose activesync, then after it comes up press x or close, now the magic button will allow you to go to active sync whenever you want.
