Publisher's Description
From Lagoon Software:
The purpose of MacAnalysis is to help you avoid all intrusions and damage caused by hackers. The principal behind MacAnalysis is simple, it hacks your server Mac like any experienced hacker would, and informs you what it did and how to efficiently fix the vulnerabilities in your server. MacAnalysis recognizes specific versions of specific daemons, for example, it knows the distinction between SendMail 8.8.2 and SendMail 8.8.3's vulnerabilities. MacAnalysis gives a detailed description of the issues it discovers on your server.
Version 2.3.2 features unspecified improvements and bug fixes.

"Great software!! Insulting purchase scheme"
Version: MacAnalysis (OS X) 2.3.2
Pros
Good information on many aspects of lan and internet connection issues, troubleshooting etc. Perfect for my 3 Mac office.
Cons
Purchasing process stinks. Product demo lures you in then kicks you out after a few minutes. When you attempt an order you get:
"It's not possible to order MacAnalysis. Sorry"
That line (especially the "Sorry") knocks a 5 Star to a 3.
The reason for effectively banning sales of MacAnalysis should be clearly stated. Or take it off the shelf and quit wasting other's time.

"Secured my servers"
Version: MacAnalysis (OS X) 2.3.2
Summary
This application is really useful for " non-hackers" and looks like a great tool for " know how " tech people.
It helped me many times to find security holes, and I even managed a few times to help a client to secure his system, by scanning his domain alone.
Some bugs sure, but I hope a new version will be out soon.
Thanks Lagoon software. -
"Great product, impossible to order."
Version: MacAnalysis (OS X) 2.3.2
Summary
I wish I could write a better review of this program. It easily surpasses any other firewall, anti-virus or general security program I have used, but its ordering process borders on the criminally difficult. Not so much the part where you give them your credit card number and they take your money, but rather the part where they actually have to give you a serial number in return for your payment. This was without a doubt thee most onerous online ordering process I have ever been forced to endure, and I give a BIG thumbs down to an otherwise excellent product because of it.
