The primary goal of this extension is to provide the tools needed to install and manage extensions and themes locally. To do this the extension provides multi-extension installation support, hacking capabilities to the Extension/Theme manager windows, features to find and troubleshoot Extensions/Themes Build, GUID and Profile information. If you want to fine tune the way your browser handles extensions, this extension is a must-have. It provides easy-to-use customizations for power users and regular users alike.
Version 6.0.0.1 adds support for Firefox 3.0 and changes the name to MR Tech Toolkit.

The purpose of this extension-managing extension is simple: to give more control over plug-ins to the user. It does just that, but it does it in such a useful and comprehensive way that it's hard to imagine managing Firefox extensions without it. The best tool this application gives the user is a Restart Firefox button that restarts the browser quickly and re-opens all the tabs that were closed. It also checks for updates and can override the MaxVersionNumber of many older extensions that haven't been updated for version 3.
Users are given control of nearly everything concerning plug-ins, from the folder the plug-ins are saved in to context-menu choices to more complex hacks. The interface is laid out in a basic panel, and it's a bit overwhelming given all the choices it offers. Still, if you download only one extension, make it this one; then all the others you get will be far easier to handle.

Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Again-it is looking for the XpInstaller and I'm running Vista. For a brand new release for Firefox 3 it should be Vista-ready.

Pros: Was able to get some extensions back on which is what I needed.
Cons: One of the extensions did not work completely screwed up FF 3.0. Was able to start in Safe Mode and fix the problem. Not for the average consumer. A bit complicated and you can seriously screw up Firefox with it. Use with caution.
