MCataloguer is Unicode-based, multipurpose cataloging software for CDs, DVDs, audio CDs, hard-disk folders, and any other accessible media. It uses powerful management tools to search for and access files from within the catalog. The application can read audio-album information, including track titles, lyrics, and cover art from the Internet. It supports text searching; reads audio CD Text, ISRC, and catalog NBR directly from disk; creates thumbnails and saves EXIF information for many popular image files; extracts metadata for audio files; retrieves full file structures and comments for compressed archives; and extracts internal descriptions for most popular document formats.

Version 1.5 adds thumbnail creation support for more popular image types and copy function for cataloged file name, track title, and any other text displayed within the tab.
