MB Tarot Reader and Tutor Software prepares users to understand and remember the tarot deck. With a helpful layout and good graphics, this is a fantastic tool for those starting out in the world of tarot.

The program's interface is slightly cluttered to begin with, but soon evolves into a user-friendly program. The program is divided into tabs, some of which are thick with text and radio buttons to coordinate settings, while the teaching and testing tabs are well spaced and intuitive. Users can take a glance at the Help file, but should know it isn't incredibly in-depth. Tutoring and testing was an enjoyable experience. Users first cycle through the entire deck of cards and read about their characteristics, meanings, and keywords along with a clear picture of the card. Testing was equally simple, though slightly tedious. Users are asked 72 questions about each individual card's keywords. Users must answer all 72 questions, which makes it hard to focus on problem areas once users grow more familiar with tarot. The program also offers a feature to help set and achieve goals. While it was laid out well and easy to use, we didn't understand its purpose and felt it just took up space.

Despite a few shortcomings, this free program's fairly user-friendly interface and a well-planned functionality make it a good choice for anyone looking to master tarot.
