This device from a security perspective (I work in Information Security) provides simply basic security features and the only true functionality is it's virus scanning and app scanning features. The data backup features are designed for folks who don't synchronize with a pc or in the cloud already via Gmail, Yahoo, etc. However, smart phone users, use the cloud or exchange servers, etc faithfully so there's no gain here. I'm optimistic that this app can grow with features making it a worthy subscription based SaaS.
The backup features also need to be more robust. At this time it only backs up, Contacts, Pictures and Call History. As mentioned in my review, Contacts are typically synchronized with another service and Pictures and Call History aren't considered sensitive data. The abiitity to select folders or specific files and/or application data to backup would make this a more robust feature. -

If your phone is lost/stolen, you can login and track where it's at. It also scans your phone for viruses. Very user friendly and highly recommend.

It's lite weight, seems to work flawlessly. Scans everything i bring in. it's listed in a forbes article which increases it's credibility in my book. The device lock out is a great feature.

Summary
Having never owned a smart phone, I am rather pleased with the functionality of my new android device the incredible. However i'm in information assurance and really anal about security. This was listed in Verizon's market section on the device and I presumed half haplessly and half hopefully a secure download. It was ironically my fist outside of the google listed stuff.
I am very pleased it functions and acts as though it's protecting my device. I researched the company a bit and found articles in Forbes, so i think it is doing what it's supposed to do. While I know the chances of getting a virus are slim and even more slim with me not downloading anything that accesses any function of the phone, e.g. games that want network access.
Overall, I like a system that is lite weight doesn't slow down anything or seem invasive and this does just that. It's on the market!
