LoNo The Personal Diet Assistant includes a large food database complete with nutritional information, but nearly all of its features are disabled in the demo version. Its unintuitive presentation is laid out with tabs for major areas: Main, Recipes, Nutrients, Add/Edit Recipes, Glycemic Index, and Utilities, but you'll only be able to access the first two sections during the trial. Quickly find recipes using keywords or browse by category and ingredients, but trial restrictions only let you view a handful of recipes. It's easy to view ingredients, directions, nutrition information, and change serving sizes. Although touted as a diet-planning assistant, it's missing a pivotal meal planner. Another negative is the hefty download size. Overall, we suggest you look elsewhere for similar apps that are more polished and robust.

Print out any of the recipes or enter your own. Each recipe's nutrients are cross-referenced against an included database that gives nutritional info on over 6600 food ingredients including USDA specific and brands like Atkins products. You can enter additional ones for your own recipes.
