Publisher's description
From Conitec oP group :With lite-C you can quickly and easily program graphics or virtual reality applications - such as 2D or 3D computer games - even without previous programming knowledge. Sounds, images, movies, user interfaces, 2D and 3D models, collision detection, rigid body physics, multitasking, and DirectX 9 functions are already a native part of the language. So you can immediately achieve results with a few lines in lite-C that would require hundreds of source code lines with normal C/C++ compilers.
Version 1.05 features an improved terrain renderer, new engine functions and more game samples.

Version: Lite-C 1.05
Pros: I did not download this free version separately but tested in inside Gamestudio that uses lite-C for its scripting language. At a first glance it looks like C++ but when you open up the tutorial and start with the second lesson you note that its much easier! Anything for game programming is already there, like functions to open levels and create players and so on. What especially impressed me is that its a real compiler, it compiles on the fly and you can even program DirectX and OpenGL programs without using the integrated engine. There are many examples included, and it has its own physics engine, for instance creating a terrain and kicking a ball over it just requires a few lines of C code.

"Cool for learning game programming"
Pros: I did not know that programming was so easy. This is a cool language that already has everything what you need for game programming included in simple commands.

"Its better than other engines and its free!"
Pros: This is a unique combination of an easy scripting language and a top game engine, it can do vehicle physics, dynamic lights and shadows and it comes with a great tutorial. I can really recommend it, try it out.
