Version: ListPro for Pocket PC 5
"Great Product--Really Buggy Upgrade"
Pros: I've been using ListPro for years now, and I use it extensively, about 30 times/day. There are a few features I wish it had, but the program works flawlessly.
Cons: This upgrade should never have been released, as it is unusable on a Pocket PC. You can't write in the Notes field on the PPC; everytime you write something, the cursor moves to the top left. This isn't just a bug; it's unusable. So beware: do not upgrade. Wait for the next build.
Two other things are wrong with this version. When you paste stuff from the web into the Notes field, you do not have the choice of pasting as "text only", so depending on the web site, you can end up with blue underlined text everywhere. The only way around this is to paste in Notepad first, then copy into the Notes field. Unacceptable.
Also, the flag colour has changed, so that it is a very light blue. Problem is, unflagged items are also light blue, so you can barely distinguish flagged from unflagged items. This seems like it should be a quick fix, but it still has not been corrected.
The one thing I don't like about the company is that they take forever to fix bugs. This was released in August and from experience with them I don't expect this to be fixed for 6 months to a year. The thing is, these aren't feature requests. And the first bug I noted at least should have been fixed the second they were made aware of it. They were good enough to give me a refund.

Version: ListPro for Pocket PC 5
Pros: It's pretty decent software, though not nearly as customizable as they claim. Also has a lot of flakiness to it. Backing up EVERY day is essential as some days it just simply says it can't read your .cab files and so everything is lost. If they'd fix the bugs it might be worth buying (though see next section about their price scam). Until then it's just not worth worrying if all my lists are going to be unuseable today....and remembering to back up EVERY day is just too much hassle. Backing up should be in case your system crashes...not because the program randomly does on a regular basis.
Cons: Don't be fooled though....they list the price here of $19.99....but when you go to buy the price is $29.99. When you write to them and tell them it says $19.99, they claim that's for an older version. Ummmm, no, it's for version 5 which your website says is the latest version available. Their response is then that Download.com must have the wrong price. That was two months ago and they still haven't bothered to contact Download.com to get it fixed? Yeah right.
