CNET Editors' review
Taking a page from the Sonic playbook, LightWeight Ninja is a fun side-scroller that adds an extra dash of cute. There are plenty of familiar elements such as strategically placed platforms to jump across, fruit-throwing enemies, and collectable gems. However, there aren't many power-ups or weapons, which are some of the most entertaining aspects of the Sonic series. The basic keyboard controls take no time to learn but are a bit sensitive, making accidents such as overjumping a platform an annoying and frequent occurrence. Once you get the hang of it, though, the game and its fun characters and graphics make for a nice diversion. The levels and functionality included in the demo also give a good representation of the full game.Publisher's Description
From Stardock:
LightWeight Ninja is a fun, fast-paced action/adventure game in the spirit of Super Mario Bros. and Commander Keen. You take on the role of Ty, the LightWeight Ninja who has been sent on a mysterious mission by his master. Ty is forced to fight a battle of unspeakable odds using all his elite ninja skills. The game takes advantage of the latest hardware with alpha-blended graphics, a great soundtrack, and animated scenes between levels to explain the story. This shareware version comes with the entire first chapter of the full game.

Summary
Ok graphics, and the story was ok to follow, although it was still a bit hard to follow the story. You can save at any point in the game, it has a high score chart in which you can send your scores on the net. However, it takes from 1 to 10 minutes to load on some computers. In all, its still a great game.
