From Martin Klinzmann:
If you want to setup your computer system again you need the licenses and serial numbers. Instead of searching for the keys in your e-mails and recipes you could use the License Crawler. This scans the computer and lists the product keys and serials.
What's new in this version:
Version 1.47 build 825 includes unspecified updates.
It's fast and if you have a product, other that Adobe, it will probably find it.
It won't fine all my adobe products.
I live on the road and don't carry all my installation disks with me. I started having a problem with Lightroom and before I deleted it I needed to find the license. Didn't find it. The help leaves a lot to be desired. IN the forum he tells us to e-mail the developer who is in help. Not there... Most of the questions and answers are in German so unless you can read and understand it, or have a translator program, it doesn't do much for non German speakers. My feeling is he just gave up and abandoned the program. It almost works...
Went to their website for the newest version: http://www.klinzmann.name/licensecrawler
Installed onto my new-used Windows 7 64-bit computer without a problem. I was able to find my Windows product key as well as my Adobe CS5 Master Collection serial number, since the seller didn't have the CDs.
An annoying pop-up add when it searches, but can be closed out without trouble.
The software save my live. I've got all used license keys from my damaged system. He found keys from nearly unknown developers. With a file size of 190kb it shows that a good program doesn't need disk space .
Nag screen during the scan process. That can de disabled with a private license ( $ 5 USD )
