  Not notifying people that the search is free; the fix is only for a price.

  Summary

  Apps should state, clearly, up front that they are not free-ware. That way people will not waste time, especially when they are looking for a fix for a problem they are having.

• Good for backuping up drivers

  A good way to back up current drivers in the event you need to restore your computer.

  Cons

  Windows probably has good enough SW to keep your drivers up-to-date (in Vista and Windows 7).

  Redundant for updating drivers, but good for backing them up Making a backup of drivers every 6 months is probably good enough.

• Stay on top of your drivers

  Pros

  Since installing Driver Magician my drivers are never out of date. The features of this package are terrific. The ability to save Microsoft or non-Microsoft or both is a nice feature.

  Cons

  I haven't found any problems yet.

  Summary

  The ease of notification and use is absolutely fantastic. The support is great especially for someone like me who has not had a lot of experience updating. being able to install, and store any of the files that are sent is a big plus. The system is not in the least bit intimidating. The program updates are frequent and there hasn't been a glitch yet. THANK YOU Driver Magician.

  I got only one update (Ethernet card)... I know I have at least 4 out-of-date drivers. Also, you cannot download anything unless you pay them $30.

  Summary

  It's really not something I will buy, especially when there is something better, and free (RadarSync is my choice...for now)

• A RECYCLER'S BEST TOOL

  Pros

  I do work recycling computers for those who cannot afford to by them and this is the best tool I have had as I can save all drivers before wiping the hard drive and re-installing the OS and all the open source software I put on these machines.

  None found so far

  Summary

  Anyone who has a computer should have this programme for an emergency back up for disk failures and changes.

  Good concept, incomplete implementation

  Cons

  Driver Magician tells me to update NVIDIA drivers and downloads them. But after their installation, Driver Magician tells me again that I need to update these same NVIDIA drivers
