LeaguePad helps users keep track of their football statistics and teams with a complex system of statistics. The program offers a lot of options, but ultimately fails to simply following teams online.

The program's interface looks as if it should be natural, but users will find themselves stuck in the mud more often than not. The simple graphics and layout will require a trip to the Help file and several experimental run-throughs to get a feeling for where information must be entered and how it can be extracted. Setting up leagues was the simplest part of this program. Users simply choose the teams they prefer from the provided list (all major European teams are featured) or enter their own options. From there, players can be edited just as simply, thanks to a manageable wizard. This trial gets tough once you want to update statistics. Users must operate a series of different command icons to enter all necessary information, from wins and losses to individual stats. This will not only take a long time, but since it was not intuitively laid out, we found ourselves opening unnecessary windows constantly trying to get the program moving. One feature we did like was a quick menu to help create a Web site. Ultimately, we decided that the professionally updated sites online will be easier and more informative than making your own.
