Layar Reality Browser for iPhone displays real time digital information on top of reality in the camera screen of the mobile phone. While looking through the iPhone's camera lens, a user can see houses for sale, popular bars and shops, touristic information of the area, and play a live game. Select a layer in the featured or popular section. Or search for a layer using any keyword in the search tab. Select a layer. It is a tool to browse the world. It enables exploration, more informed decisions, serendipity, and fun. The layar application works with GPS and compass to determine location and the direction the Phone is facing. The camera input provides the reality. The location is used to retrieve the layer information with coordinates and other relevant data.
What's new in this version: Version 3.0.3 added language support for Japanese, Korean, and Russian, cosmetic changes to layer gallery, improvements of status messages in AR view, better handling of out-of-memory situations when in the AR view of a heavy layer with lots of objects, fixed issues of disappearing objects after changing settings and switching layers, and calibration setting now saved between sessions.
