CNET Editors' review
This robust password manager is a must-use freeware tool that supports multiple operating systems and browsers. With LastPass, you create a master password, and then it uses automatic form filling and one-click log-in to simplify password entry.
LastPass will create secure passwords for you, as well as allow for secure password sharing, password import and export, secure note-taking, and password backup and restore. Because the data is stored on its encrypted servers, you can access your passwords remotely. If you're worried about key logging, LastPass can make a single-serving-use password for you. You can manually add sites, like financial ones, that would otherwise prevent the in-browser password manager from saving your password.
The interface is a basic set of fields to fill out, with several drop-down menus, but that should make it simple to use, if not outright familiar to many people.

"Super program"
Version: LastPass Password Manager 1.60
Pros
Does it all for you easy.
Cons
Does not give you the brains to remember the pass word for Last Pass. LOL
-
"Does what it is supposed to"
Version: LastPass Password Manager 1.60
Pros
Works as advertised, WAY better than FF's built-in password manager, obviously works from more than one computer
Cons
somewhat annoying sometimes because it adds three new items to my already-too-long options menu when right-clicking in text boxes, even when the text box is not for usernames or passwords
-
"Easy, efficient, mostly reliable"
Version: LastPass Password Manager 1.60
Pros
A big time saver to avoid entering and listing somewhere all those passwords! Very convenient for regular autofilling and for credit card info entry. I'm delighted!
Cons
For one (out of about 25 I've tried) website, it won't remember the password. No idea why.
-
"Seems buggy"
Version: LastPass Password Manager 1.60
Pros
I really this program when i first installed it, the added security it provides seemed like a good thing to have and i loved the auto-fill feature. Then the problems began.
Cons
Worked for a week and then stopped, re-installed it. Once again, worked for a couple of days and then stopped working again. Again re-installed it and this time it forgot all my passwords on the second day of using it. That was it for me.

"Last Pass is a GODSEND!"
Version: LastPass Password Manager 1.60
Pros
The last password solution. In my months of internet research and postings last pass has been a LIFE SAVER. I have ?identities? for school, work, etc . Last pass lets me keep logins for all those identities in one place. Never had a problem with it!
Cons
Nothing yet.
Summary
Must for frequent web users, social media junkies etc.

"I went back to Roboform"
Version: LastPass Password Manager 1.60
Pros
When Lastpass first came out, I thought this would finally be a great FREE alternative to Roboform.. It works and works well with no restrictions on how many passwords you can store
Cons
Won't work with IE in IETab mode from Firefox. I've complained numerous times and I got the feeling they just don't care. I went back to Roboform..
Summary
I don't like their attitude and I can't understand why people would optionally want to pay $12 a year for this.
-
"works well & free"
Version: LastPass Password Manager 1.60
Pros
save the passwords once and they are accessible from all my pc's. interface is simple to understand. can be customized for high security, always prompt or never prompt depending on individual security needs
Cons
some sites it doesn't prompt to save passwords. but they can be set up manually with the 'add site' option. only a minor inconvenience because once you set it up manually, you never have to worry about it again
Summary
was using roboform, but i have abandoned it because this is more useful for me on multiple computers without having to purchase second licenses.

"Finally one that works"
Version: LastPass Password Manager 1.60
Pros
I like the way LastPass is always there, waiting to fill in your passwords when you open a web page OR ckick on the LastPass icon in your browser, click on the site you want to open and LastPass opens the site, fills in your info and logs you in.
Cons
I am trying to think of something I don't like about it but I am drawing a blank.
-
