Version: Kodak Easyshare Software 6.4
"Super Slow and too complicated."
Pros: Looks good and has plenty of features. I was ready to get started!
Cons: It is so SLOW! Not only does it take forever for the program to start but then it takes forever browse through the photos. It also makes my whole computer slow.
It does not allow sub-albums. I would like to have sub-albums for like 2006 and 2007 under my Christmas album, etc.
I will keep looking!

"WARNING!!! DO NOT TRY TO UPGRADE!!!"
Cons: Okay, I had the Easy Share Software that came with my camera installed on my PC. Everything was fine. I also had the "updater" for said software installed. Three days ago I logged on to find out that I couldn't use my program. I needed to "upgrade" my software. Mind you, I could not do anything. Couldn't edit, upload, nothing. The software shut down each time. This is software that I've been using, without incident -- though admittedly it was slow -- for over a year now. So, I tried to upgrade. NO CAN DO!! For some reason the new software "7.0" needs the .Net Framework 2 to operate corretly. I've had to remove almost every program running on my PC, installed on my PC, etc....and still I don't have enough memory/room to install the new CRAPOLA!!!! KEEP YOUR 7.0 KODAK & ALLOW ME TO RUN MY OLD SOFTWARE WITHOUT HAVING TO UPGRADE TO USE YOUR PRECIOUS GALLERY!!!

Pros: This does help organize and enables editing and really has worked fine for me. You even get free updates and you can print and email photos right through the program once you set up your address book. You actually can make additional albums in sub format, you just have to play with it abit till you get familiar. I have had the Kodak Easyshare Software line for over 4 years and by and large find that it is indeed, good enough
Cons: It is true that it is not fast in loading and in some of my systems it has a tendency to lock up or cause a crash ( my older computers) but not so with newer computers. It is an intensive program in terms of resource use.

Cons: Beware, you may not be able to un-install this. I can't and Kodak has no answer. I had to manually remove it from the Windows registry! Most people will not be able to do that... So BEWARE avoid this software!!!
