Publisher's description of Knight Online 1.453
From K2 Network:We invite you to the world of Knight Online, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that utilizes a party system where you help your fellow players to advance. A prominent and exciting feature of Knight Online is the involving, persistent, large-scale war between players. Upon registering and creating your character, you must choose between two nations: El Morad, the nation of the human race, and Karus, the nation of the Orc tribes. The successful player will seek to join forces with others of his or her nation in order to obtain victory. By enduring battles, that character may also become a hero in the Knight Online World. He may also receive a title and reward from the King, become the lord of his own castle, and even rule over a city.
Version 1.453 features visual changes such as the user interface have also been streamlined to maximize screen space as well as the ability to change the sizes of chat and information windows.

- "Free, huge, with no help"
- Version reviewed: Knight Online 1.453
In the ever-expanding and competitive realm of MMORPGs, Knights Online has a sturdy reputation for offering the most for free. A heavily-populated game, with nearly 300,000 people online when we played, Knights provides a familiar fight-and-quest medieval milieu that encourages interaction with other players but doesn't demand it.
For a free download, the graphics are top-rate. As you acquire weapons and armor, your character's physical appearance changes to reflect both the new implement of death being swung and the new pants you're wearing. The POV changes are fairly smooth and occasionally disorienting for it. There also is a paid upgrade version that opens up a community that allows you to sell items at a higher rate and more power.
The user subscription has another benefit: consistent access. The game is so popular that free players are blocked during peak hours. There are the usual drawbacks of cheaters and complaints about customer support, but the biggest problem we encountered was the installation. On top of the massive install file, we were required to add 13 patches with absolutely no documentation; it was only from the Web site's player forums that we learned about them.
All that being said, it's a fun game that can magically obliterate your free time--and leave you happier for it.

Version: Knight Online 1.453
"Waste of Time and real money..."
Pros: Graphics are decent but not enough to carry the game.
Cons: Several as mentioned by previous posted reviews.
1) Cheaters and Hackers are rampant.
2) No customer Support for Free2Play.
3) If you do Pay2Play, see #2 first half.
4) No In-game Game Managers (GM's) to regulate rampant Cheaters and Hackers.
5) Duplicated Items (Dupes) do not get purged from game (DupeSwiped) enough.
6) If you are not a P2P member and are F2P, good luck getting on the game during peak Turkish Time Hours.
7) Needs a Translator for the non-english speakers (for a game made and run by Koreans this Surprises me).
8) Poor Censor blocker(not that most L337 do not know how to work around it anyways:)).
Buggy, Laggy, and all the other things most Serious Gamers hate.
That's just a few things, I could go on and on, but I think you get the point.
If You want a game that has some good Graphics and is not as easy to hack, I suggest you go buy World Of Warcraft(WOW), EverQuest, and GuildWars (GW). Some other good Free to play Massive Multi-player Online (MMO) games that are not K2 Owned are RuneScape (Old-school look and feel)and Silkroad Online.

Version: Knight Online 1.453
Pros: Great graphics, not too many problems with the Free2play version. Nice english speaking players that are willing to help. Not too many bugs, just a few glitches in the graphics. Dont need to pay to enjoy this game.
Cons: You need to pay inorder to play during the peek hours, from 5 am-3pm EST. GMs suck and ban innocents because they dont investagate properly. The Non English players like to gain up on the English. The Turkish players dont play to proceed in the game but to annoy other players. The translator sucks, so the language barrier doesnt help the relations among players from difrent nations

Version: Knight Online 1.453
Pros: GREAT graphics, mostly smooth running, great attack motions, nice having 4 classes and mini-classes within them. LOVE the two nations thing. GREAT PvP! Overall, DOWNLOAD IT! TRY IT!
Cons: Many Turkish players that are mostly rude to Americans (some are not, and most American players will help you start). No tutorial, but I figured most things out in 1-2 days. Can't get on SOME days until about 12 pm EST.

Version: Knight Online 1.453
Pros: awesome graphics nice gameplay fun and entertaining. lots of things to kill, massive worlds i have played this for 3 months and i havent even gotten to half the map lots of quests for people who like to do them, the graphics are so good when you walk you do not look like your moonwalking or on ice ¢º it is the best game i have played. i used to be a runescape player cause i couldnt afford to play world of warcraft. but even the free play there is no end. i tried wow for like a month but it was horrible compared to this.
people say it isnt worth the download, but it is. it is like 480 mb which takes like an hour to download, but only 14 min on dsl with download accelerater plus 8 go to speedbit for it
Cons: level 80 cap (dont worry the game goes on past that)
too many turkish people. i mean im not a racist or anything, but there is way more turkish players than american and it gets really annoying trying to communicate.
my translations i figured out. . .
awa=please
lwl=level
parti=well you get it
remember that and you will be ok
and it doesnt work on dial up very well.
too fun. seriosly you will play this for hours if you dont like having fun do not download this game is not for you.

Version: Knight Online 1.453
Pros: Good Side:
1. The game has decent graphics
2. Cool animation, nice effects, and generally fun to play.
Cons: Bad Side:
This expansion for Knight Online is a major disappointment to many fans and players and even newcomers.
1. This expansion is not compatible with over 40% of all players. It does not work on most computers. Some symptoms are:
a. Inability to see text and font,
b. Having problems with X-TRAP security program,
c. Invalid IDs,
d. Not being able to log out,
e. The anvil does not work,
f. Many items are accidentally duped,
g. Game has many other major flaws such as missing items and bad security,
h. Most people could eventually forgive KOL, but the main problem is that they have done nothing to help their customers,
i. Many premium members that pay monthly are not able to play, thus wasting money,
2. Servers are instable, causing players to disconnect every few moments,
3. This expansion has also ruined the original Knight Online servers, causing regular players to have many difficulties as well,
Overall: Game is not worth download time.
