This Internet Explorer add-on's differentiating features are geared toward Christian users, but those offerings are less than extreme. Kingdom Extreme Toolbar incorporates a radio and RSS feed toolbar into Internet Explorer.

A continuous ticker tape scripture of Romans 5:8 glides along the bar, but we were disappointed that other inspirational verses aren't available for swapping. Other useful components to search on sites such as eBay and Shopping.com and for news, shopping, and the day's latest stock quotes are a button away. A search field isn't available on the bar, but a button to launch Google as well as others to launch forums and blogs on Bravenet.com are handy. Buttons to chat with others, access gift ideas, and to visit a Christian Internet retail store may prove useful to some.

Kingdom Extreme Toolbar provides pop-up blocking, history cleaners, weather forecasts, and e-mail notification for Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, and POP3s. The customizable toolbar offers launchers for some Microsoft Office and Windows applications and a clever radio with several stations in multiple music genres. Though its aims at Christian users are narrow, anyone can use this free piece.
