KingKanji is a Japanese character/word flash card system now available for the Palm OS. Lessons can easily be created using a Japanese word processor. KingKanji is highly customizable and tests users in Japanese or English. Lesson items can be composed of a single character, multicharacter phrases, and sentences. What makes KingKanji unique is its emphasis on writing via the Palm stylus input.

This version adds stroke animation for more than 1,200 characters, including first through sixth grade Joyo kanji and kana. It also fixes a few bugs, including a lesson parsing problem occuring on Japanese versions of the Palm. The registration fee is $24.95. This program has a 30-day trial period.
