KingKanji is a Japanese character/word flash card system for handheld Windows CE devices. Lessons can easily be created using a Japanese word processor. KingKanji is highly customizable and tests users in Japanese or English. Lesson items can be composed of a single character, multicharacter phrases, and sentences. What makes KingKanji unique is its emphasis on writing via Windows CE's stylus. This update adds stroke animation for over 1,200 characters, including first through sixth grade Joyo kanji and kana, as well as several bug fixes. This program has a 30-day trial period. The registration fee is $24.95.
