"Reporting system flawed"

not recommended.
Cons
Major flaw is reporting ability. Only provide reports fore limited users. None for the admins. If your password is cracked by the child you will have no idea they are using the computer which is what happened in my case. Kidswatch won't fix issue.

Would try another program that addresses this issue.

Powerful tool to ensure you know what and when you kids are doing on the computer.
Cons
Can take a bit of time to work out how to use it, but help information and support was very good.
Summary
This kind of tool is so valuable to know what programs my kids are using, when they are using them and where they are going online. Works well with multiple children also.

Well, I'm picking up a Win32: Trojan-Gen from Avast. While I admire Download.com posting their (spyware free) 'logos' all over the place in software, this is becoming less and less trusted.

Pros
You can control individual users and their usage of the internet, computer, specific programs - you can give a time to stop and start usage of these, and it gives the user a 5 minute warning when their time is up.
All these can be bypassed when required.
Cons
It takes a bit of practice to set it up, and sometimes my daughter says she is blocked when she isn't.

Pros
Complete control, can restrict programs, internet, time of day and how long each day the computer can be used per user. Very easy to understand works just like you would make it work if you wrote it yourself. Also they have a newer version at their sight that I recommend, allows you to make changes to the "controlled" PC from another Computer in a local network.
Cons
If you format your computer after activating you can not reinstall without contacting customer service(So if you are even thinking about reinstalling OS do it first). But.. They have the best customer service I have EVER dealt with. VERY fast response by a friendly and knowledgeable representative.
