"Buggy with Mac Lion OS"
Version: Kensington Mouseworks 6.22
Pros
clean interface, and as all my previous experiences with Kensington products, well thought out.
Cons
Buggy problem when selecting the main click button (can't), must select right click first, then the software determines (incorrectly) that the other button must be the main click- selects it and grays it out.
Then you have to tab through the drop down menus to undo the selection. Awkward and not working right. -
"Software doesn't work with Vista or Windows 7."
Version: Kensington Mouseworks 6.0.3
Pros
Nothing since it doesn't work.
Cons
The Expert Mouse Trackball is certified by Kensington to be fully Vista compatible but the software doesn't work. A call to Kensington revealed that they have no intention of supporting this product for Vista or Windows 7.
Summary
Stay away from all Kensington products! Based upon their false advertising, I just paid $80 for a product that doesn't work and they're not going to make it work. Kensington management is brain dead. I am debating whether to return the damn trackball or publicly burn it on the plaza at U of M.
