This program makes creating basic slide shows a no-brainer, but it lacks a number of features we consider important. Jpg Animated Slide Show's Mac-style interface is a snap to use; you simply browse to a folder containing pictures, and the program will automatically display a list of images in its large queue pane. However, one of this application's biggest missteps is that it only supports JPEG, neglecting other popular image formats such as GIF, PNG, and BMP. When it comes to transition effects, the program shines, as it lets you choose from a huge library. You also can change the background color of your show and determine how long each shot stays onscreen. Unfortunately, Jpg Animated Slide Show won't let you add music to your productions, can't generate an EXE file, and provides no sharing options. Newbies seeking a simple way to create a slide show will appreciate this app, but users with more demanding tastes won't be too excited.Publisher's description
From Naturpic Software :With this software, you can view all images in a folder with more than 120 exciting animated transition effects. Once the program's installed, just browse and select the folder with JPEG files to start a slide show. You can change the speed of the slide show, the background image, and the background color.

Version: Jpg Animated Slide Show 1.1
Pros: Does what it intends to do well, which is the main thing!
Cons: Tries to simulate MAC or some other interface. Maybe it was ported? No simple way to say no transition, change slides every 5 seconds, for example. You have to adjust other settings and read the help to see what they mean.
Hint for a simple slide show -- remove all but one transition effect in the Effects menu, pick any one. In the Options menu, change the delay to a relatively small number, say 3 for about 3 seconds. Change the step value to a large value to make the transition effect time go real fast. Check both Stretch and Proportional, or JPGs from modern cameras will display too large for your screen probably. After you do all that, click Slide show to start the show. All of these should be the default. I can't find an option to display caption stored in JPEG file using other program. Control menu doesn't necessarily show up right during play.

Version: Jpg Animated Slide Show 1.1
Summary: keeps trying to install a feature from EZ CD Creator 5 and asks for the CD. Tried cancelling the install several times but keeps on restarting on it's own. Had to shut it down from task manager.
