CNET Editors' review
Reminiscent of games such as Xonix and Qix, Jezzball Ultimate sucks you in with its simple, yet addictive concept. Multiple balls float randomly around a blank board, and it's your job to isolate each ball by sectioning it off from the others with horizontal or vertical lines. Not only must you stay alive by avoiding hitting the balls with your laser, you must also keep your eye on the clock. Every time you rope off a portion of the board, it will reveal part of the underlying image, which range from assorted nature scenes to well-known cartoon characters. Jezzball Ultimate's nice graphics should please most folks, and even though we personally enjoyed the music, we were glad to have an option for disabling it. The game may seem like a snap on its easiest difficulty level, but once you learn the ropes, the more advanced modes will have you scrambling to deal with a larger number of quickly moving balls. If you're a fan of puzzle games, you should at least give this one a shot.Publisher's Description
From Intelore:
Jezzball Ultimate is an outstanding remake of a popular Xonix game. The aim of the game is very simple: at every level you need to reveal a beautiful picture that is covered by a screen, which represents the game field. To do that you will need to separate the balls that are flying around that screen, but also avoiding direct contact with them.
