Jedit supports multiple styles, multiple splittable windows, multiple undos, HTML coloring, Sherlock FCB searching, bookmarking, embedding of objects (images, sounds, QuickTime movies, and aliases), AppleScript, macro menus, text-to-speech, recording, summarizing, Unicode, and more. Version 4.0.9 adds support for the External Editor Protocol. You can directly edit a remote file in the Jedit window working with a FTP client such as Interarchy 4.1.
