From V-Methods Software :The program is intended for image compression withoptimization for size and quality. It is based on a new algorithm, which is claimed to successfully compress images. Created files are fully compatible (in baseline mode) with all JPEG viewers. The main features of JPEG Imager include: optimization of DCT quantization matrices for individual images; smart filtration (reduction of high-frequency artifacts); easy thumbnail generation; progressive mode support;resampling of the original image, blur, and sharpen.
