This Internet Explorer add-on comes with many options to assist you in your Web searching endeavors, but don't expect any free extras.
JHSoft Toolbar rests on top of your browser window. From there, you can conduct Internet inquiries through your choice of Dictionary.com, Shopping.com, and Job Search. Both a news ticker and message box are available, and you can customize the toolbar with quick-launch buttons for several Microsoft Office and Windows applications. Typical toolbar features such as a pop-up blocker, a browser and search history cleaner, a weather forecast, and an e-mail alert all worked well during testing. The only exception was the Web radio--only one of the three preset stations was functional, and we had difficulty adding more stations.
The toolbar offers links for additional features such as map directions and MP3 downloads, but you have to register and purchase them for access. Though it's easy enough for anyone to use, JHSoft Toolbar doesn't offer anything you can't find for free in numerous other toolbars.
