The advanced backup process of InstaBackupGold creates an image file with extension .rbf. All files that are included in a backup process are saved in this image file. You can only mount this image file and restore your files directly by using Restore feature of InstaBackupGold. Stellar Phoenix InstaBackupGold Software creates a Rescue disk to recover all your data from hard disk incase your operating system (OS) is not working. InstaBackupGold software has a built in Task Scheduler feature to automate the data backup process. Drives or volumes can be added to a task after the successful completion of a backup process. This helps in case; you want to add more drives and files to an existing backup process. Facility to create and save unique Backup in which specific sets of files can be grouped together and get backed up periodically, as per the Scheduler.
