From Emilio Guijarro :Infoscape is a RSS news aggregator which brings to your desktop as many channels as you want, and provides their contents directly as a popup floating window without boring menus or listings. Infoscape allows you to get instant notifications on your email accounts, weather conditions, news channels. RSS 0.9x, 1.0, 2.0 and AtomFeed 0.3 are supported. Version 1.2 has headline pooling mechanism completely redesigned. Now stats are more accurate and application works more efficiently. Desktop panel size reduced. Run at startup option moved to application options. Channels can now be enabled/disabled on the fly without deleting them. Configuration window re-engineered. Proxy support added. About screen moved to configuration window. Desktop panel movement enhanced. Bugfix: channel and application data saved when application is terminated by OS. Huge cleanup in code design. Lots of minor fixes.
