From Emilio Guijarro :Infoscape is a RSS news aggregator which brings to your desktop as many channels as you want, and provides their contents directly as a popup floating window without boring menus or listings. Infoscape allows you to get instant notifications on your email accounts, weather conditions, news channels. RSS 0.9x, 1.0, 2.0 and AtomFeed 0.3 are supported. Version 1.1 - Run at startup option added to installer. - Program activity is now stopped when workstation is locked. - Reset internal state option added. - Major memory usage tweaks. - Post-buffering for last ten displayed news added. - HTML cleanup now much more efficient in memory usage. - Internal state (displayed headlines) is now persistent between different sessions.
