We'll admit, we were intrigued by this free Web browser's GPS-style concept, which aims to alleviate typing in favor of navigation by clicking icons. It's too bad the interface is an eyesore.

IconDrive iWebGPS Browser's interface is supposed to look like the dashboard of your car, complete with a rearview mirror. Instead of making the app easier to use, it just looks like there's no rhyme or reason to the design. Looking at it, you really don't know where to go next. What appears to be a GPS device resides on the right side of the screen. A really annoying blank billboard keeps moving back and forth. The text is very small and difficult to read. Before you can add your own links or apply any customizations, you have to register first--a major turn-off for most users. When we clicked on a Web site icon in the GPS window, we were instructed to type a keyword in the Keyword Compartment. But isn't the point of the program to get rid of the need for typing? We did as we were told, entered a keyword, and the program did let us point and click on different search engines.

We get what the publisher's trying to go for here, but the end result is a very haphazard. We recommend you navigate away from this freeware and take a different route with another browser.
