From Ripcord Software:IISxpress compresses response data on-the-fly to maximize your web server's data throughput. This means less bandwidth usage by your server resulting in improved responsiveness and lower costs. Using ZLIB technology IISxpress is capable of compression ratios up to 10:1 on typical Web content while retaining full HTTP standard and client browser compatibility. IISxpress knows what file types compress well (HTML, CSS, XML) and which file types do not (ZIP, JPG, GIF) reducing the CPU overhead by only compressing content where it will get significant gains.
Version 2.1 supports Windows Vista, integrates compression cache for lightning fast response times, and features true multi-core support - select any combination of CPU cores to use for compression tasks or let IISxpress load balance automatically.

"Get a New version which is available now"
Pros: a great product if you get new version

Pros: GREAT performance, easy install and configuration.
Other more expensive programs failed to perform in my environment or did not perform at all on dynamic content.
Compression is great! Technical support is top-notch and personal.Cons: This may be my ignorance or lack of documentation, but it seems the caching section lacks some granular control. ie: dont cache 'xxxxxx.yyy' file(s).
Compression configuration was flawless though.Summary: I run a large multi site (.asp) IIS server that was starved for more bandwidth. I tried many products - some that cost a great deal more - but IISxpress was the only one that actually had dramatically noticible effects on my dynamic content. The i... read more >>
