IE7 Pro adds a lot of showmanship to the Internet Explorer browser. The freeware add-on has some smart solutions for tabbing, including default settings to open URLs in new tabs and let double-clicking close a tab down. Here's another pleasant surprise: "dragging" and "dropping" an in-text link into white space opens the link in a new tabs without any mouse work. IE7Pro also borrows from several software concepts to help raise IE7's appeal, including Firefox's, to save and fill forms, and insert user scripts a la Greasemonkey. Read the full IE7Pro review.

Version: IE7pro 0.9.7

"IE7pro version 0.9.6 gets it right."

Pros: Earlier versions were not acceptable.

IE7pro version 0.9.6 blocks ads in IE7 similar to Adblock Plus in Firefox. I am using the same list of ad block filters in IE7pro and Adblock Plus.

IE7Pro also includes Super Drag and Drop and Mouse Gestures.

Cons: I found a conflict with 4 Yahoo IE7 add-ons. They needed to be disabled to stop IE7 from crashing when IE7 is closed with IE7Pro installed.
