If you want more detailed information than a hyperlink and a brief description, this IE add-on shows you the full Web pages matching your search term.

Okapiland adds a small toolbar to your browser window with only a few buttons and a field to enter your search term. Those accustomed to the neatly presented lineup offered by search engines such as Yahoo or Google may be a bit overwhelmed, but this tiny tool offers users a whole new level of information to find what they're looking for.

As with any search tool, you enter a word or phrase in the search field. The difference is in how your results are presented. Okapiland displays a small version of all Web pages containing those words. You can even scroll down a single page within the page to check it out and highlight your search term to find it easily. Just click on a page's hyperlink and it will open in a new tab. On one hand, it's easier to see if a Web site that turns up in your search really matches what you're looking for, but on the other, it returned more than a million possible matches for our sample search phrase of "business management." Okapiland uses Yahoo for its searches, but it doesn't provide any information on the relevancy of the match. It also couldn't render certain objects on pages like flash-based items. There's an online user manual on the publisher's Web site, but it doesn't give many details.

Casual users might find this tool a bit overwhelming, but for those who want to see the actual pages returned in their searches, this freeware fits the bill.

Publisher's description

From Okapiland Products :

IE Okapiland Search Toolbar (IE Okapibar) is an IE toolbar to provide Internet search in Composite Page Mode (CPM) that displays linked pages themselves in addition to hyperlinks. All pages can be displayed by scrolling. Internet Search is good for the quick or clear search, but the deep or ambiguous search requires your effort. The CPM can save your operation.

Version 2.6 is capable of resizing the width of the frames.
